Digg Inspiration

With hopes of "bridging the gap" between law enforcement and the community, Officer Deuntay T. Diggs got his boogie on to Beyonce. The Lip Sync Battle was to raise money for school supplies for children in need. In addition to this viral video, Diggs has been an inspiration in many ways. He is a motivation speaker, touching on issues of race, sexuality, and diversity. As the first openly gay cadet to graduate from the Virginia Military Institute and also first at the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office, Diggs has quite the story of his own. He shares about physical, mental, and sexual abuse, abandonment, and being raised by strangers in a poverty-stricken area. After battling homelessness, lack of education, and discrimination against his race and sexuality, he started "Inspiration from Within, LLC."
